  1. I used a cross because religion is important to me.
  2. My "big idea" was to get religious people to remember Him outside of church. I did accomplish it because it's subtle but still reminds people.
  3. I painted over the background in photoshop to be just white.

Forced Perspective

  1. The second shot is the most believable because it fits together well.
  2. The third shot is the most interesting because of the proportions.
  3. The most difficult part was thinking of the shots and making it happen.

still life

  1. My still life represents childhood in the 1900's.
  2. My lighting is indirect and comes from one side.
  3. The only way to improve my composition is to have a straight background and also know how to use a camera.

bringing action to life

  1. My favorite part of this image is the middle.
  2. The most difficult part of this process was making the middle blend.
  3. The easiest part was making the final image come together.

Photographing water

 Station 1
1. It was pretty easy to get a good shot since the camera took high quality shots.
2. I didn't like how restrictive it felt to take the shots because of how dark it was.

Station 2
1. It was hard to get a good shot because the camera focused on everything outside of the water.
2. I didn't like taking the shot on a tripod.

Station 3
1. It was hard to get a good shot since everything turned out blurry because the phone camera wasn't fast enough to take a good shot.
2. I liked the amount of options I had to take a shot.

Station 4
1. It was hard to get a good shot since everything turned out blurry because the phone camera wasn't fast enough to take a good shot.
2. I liked the amount of options I had to take a shot.

motion blur

Absolutely this looks real. It looks real because cheetahs can run up to 80 mph so even with a real camera following this blur could happen.

6 frame story

  1. I used my iPhone and that made the burst mode easy to use since the burst mode takes a ton of photos for as long as I hold down the button.
  2. The last frame is my favorite because he almost looks like he's gonna fall.
  3. I find it interesting that even though they're just pictures, you can tell what's going on without every detail.

Green screen

  1. The most difficult part of this project was taking the shot.
  2. I liked the first edit since it looks more realistic.
  3. To improve I would need someone to do a better job of acting like they're falling.

surreal photos

1. The tool I used the most was the brush tool.
2. The best part of my composition is where the rocks the hikers are on blend into the hair.
3. It took some time to detail are the edges of the hikers. There were many mistakes made that forced me to restart from different points.
4. I could have used some other tools to blend them together better or made more edits such as adding shadows.

Here's a better edit

bottle

I learned what a clipping mask does, how to use the warp tool, and another way to make shadows.
I had 27 layers.
I liked this assignment because it looks cool.

speed challenge

I admired the color, texture, and reflections that Stone used.

I like the broad view that my shot gives.
I think it's amazing because the shot allowed my editing to enhace it's color.
I used vibrance.
This challenge was enjoyable to me.
I used color and harmony.

Abstract images

1) My favorite shot is the last one. It's actually hair but it's pretty hard to tell what it is.
2) This photo shows clear texture, form, and shape.
3) The photo shows pattern and rhythm.
4) The first image and filter combination is my favorite since the image looks like bark but with a filter it looks like something that could be used for a movie poster.

landscape

  1. Yes, I used the rule of thirds. I emphasized it with the land.
  2. I used balance between the field and the hills.
  3. My image was taken around 9:30 A.M. It wash't a great time to take the shot but I didn't have much of a choice.
  4. I angled the camera downward to place the field in the foreground and keep the hills and sky as a blending background.

1) I think that the channel mixer method produced the best result.
2) Each image had a large value range.

macro lens shots

1) Using the macro lens was really cool. My shots all turned out awesome.
2) My favorite shot is the second one because it looks like a reptile.
3) The third shot shows the best use of the rule of thirds.
